Natural Minor Reed Plates for Lee Oskar Harmonicas

$29.00

Lee Oskar Natural Minor Reed Plates (Model #1910NRP) – All 12 Keys

Replacement reed plates for the Lee Oskar Natural Minor harmonica, sold individually in all 12 keys. Green Label.

Reeds don’t last forever. Play a harp hard enough and long enough and the reeds go flat, lose response, or stop speaking cleanly. Replaceable reed plates in every key are an exclusive Lee Oskar feature — so a worn Natural Minor gets rebuilt rather than retired, at about half the cost of a new instrument.

How the Rebuild Works

Fitting new plates takes three screws and two nuts/bolts. No specialty tools and no trip to a repair tech.

  1. Remove the cover plates.
  2. Unfasten the worn reed plates from the comb.
  3. Fit the new reed plates.
  4. Reassemble using your original comb and cover plates.

Your original comb and cover plates carry over into the rebuild, so the harp you get back is the one you’ve already broken in — same feel, fresh reeds.

Available in 12 Keys (Listed Low to High)

Dm, Ebm, Em, Fm, F#m, Gm, Abm, Am, Bbm, Bm, Cm, Dbm

Not sure which model you own? Check the label colour on the cover plate — Natural Minor harps are Green Label.

Frequently Asked Questions

What harmonica do these reed plates fit?

The Lee Oskar Natural Minor harmonica, Green Label. Reed plates pairs are matched to their tuning, however all Lee Oskar Reed Plates are compatible with the system.

Do the replacement plates have to match my harp's current key?

No. Plates are sold by key, so you can rebuild in the same key or move an existing harp body to a different one.

How much does rebuilding save?

About half the cost of buying a complete new harmonica.

How do I know whether my reeds need replacing?

A reed that plays flat, responds slowly, or won’t sound at normal breath pressure is worn and needs a new plate. A note that buzzes or sticks intermittently is more often debris in the comb or a misaligned reed, and cleaning may fix it.
